Finding the "Right Fit"

As part of our admissions process we love to get to know you and your child, and determine exactly what you are looking for in a school. As an innovative independent school we have the benefit of small class sizes, nurturing environments and a challenging academic approach...but what else sets us apart from other schools? At ArtsCalibre Academy, staff and students consistently "bring their best" as they work together to create an atmosphere of inspiration, self-direction, integrity and dedication.

Step 1 - Start Your Application

Step 2 - Meet With Us

  • Preschool:
    • For families of preschool students, you will be invited to participate in a private tour of the preschool with our lead Early Childhood Educator (ECE).
  • School Age Programs:
    • Once you have completed the Prospective Student Questionnaire, one of our administration team members will connect with you to discuss the steps in the admissions process (booking a tour).
    • As a very closely-knit school, it's important for us to meet you and answer any questions that you may have. We want to ensure you are completely comfortable with your decision to join ArtsCalibre Academy. Prospective families are warmly invited to attend an open house and/or participate in a private tour.

Step 3 - Application Assessment

  • Our administration team will assess your full application and notify you of the result. Your application will be placed in one of three categories:
    • Offer: Your application is successful and you have been offered a place at ArtsCalibre.
    • Wait Pool: Your application is placed in the Wait Pool and you will be notified should a space for your student become available.
    • Non-Acceptance: Your application is unsuccessful. This can be because of limited space or the administration team does not believe the program is the right fit for your student at this time.

Step 4 - Accept Your Offer

  • If you have received an offer from the school, you will be given a time period in which to accept your offer.
  • To accept your offer, you will need to:
    • Contact the administration team stating that you wish to accept.
    • Pay a non-refundable registration fee. Because we are a school with limited places, this fee helps us ensure your commitment to our program.
